Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The purpose of this organization is to create more sustainable, desirable, and meaningful solutions to some of society's most pressing needs by providing community leaders and low-income communities with design, social enterprise, and creative development services.

Design impact is a nonprofit social innovation firm based in cincinnati, ohio. Design impact collaborates with individuals, organizations, and funders to apply creative and inclusive approaches to complex social challenges. Their approach combines creativity, equity, and leadership practices to create social change. They do this in part by amplifying and empowering unheard voices, especially those directly affected by poverty in the design of their own solutions. To date, design impact has partnered with community leaders on over 300 social design projects that span multiple sectors including community health, early education, community development, and food access. As of 2019, design impact's work engaged over 7,400 nonprofit leaders, community members, and creatives.
