OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS MADE UP OF THOSE WHO HAVE LIVED EXPERIENCE IN MENTAL HEALTH AND/OR SUBSTANCE USE RECOVERY OR HAVE A PERSONAL OR PROFESSIONAL INTEREST IN IT. WE OFFER SUPPORT GROUPS IN THE FIVE COUNTIES THAT WE REPRESENT WHICH CONSISTS OF CAROLINE, DORCHESTER, KENT, QUEEN ANNES AND TALBOT COUNTIES. WE ALSO HAVE SOCIAL EVENTS SUCH AS COOK OUTS, TRIPS TO THE BEACH, BOWLING, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES WHICH PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR PARTICIPANTS TO CONNECT WITH OTHERS WHICH BUILDS THEIR OWN RECOVERY NETWORK. WE HAVE EDUCATIONAL FORUMS AND PRESENTATIONS LED BY INTERNAL STAFF AND OUTSIDE SPEAKERS ON VARIOUS TOPICS WHICH HAVE SHOWN TO BE OF INTEREST BY OUR PARTICIPANTS.
