Blackland Income Growth Program Inc.

To improve the overall agricultural and agri-business economy of the area by placing special educational emphasis on the areas of soil and water management and conservation, agricultural enterprise technological and economic adjustment and diversification, favorable financial and market opportunities for agricultural enterprises and efficient production and marketing of agricultural commodities in the 12 million acre B.I.G. area which includes all or part of 24 Texas counties.

Blackland Income Growth Program (B.I.G.) is an open organization and as such, cordially invites and welcomes the full support of all persons having a personal interest in the general well-being of the agricultural and agri-business economy of the area. Educational programs conducted by B.I.G. serve people of all ages regardless of socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, religion, handicap or national origin. Each year Blackland Income Growth awards twelve scholarships to outstanding 4-H members in Texas Blackland counties.
