Axs lab (www.axslab.org) is a nonprofit that's building a network of organizationsand people to supercharge the movement for inclusion of people with disabilities.we aim to engage audiences to playfully explore the disability experience using newmedia, films, technology, and the power of story. By exploring alternate realities ofperception and experience, we believe the world becomes a more compassionate,inclusive, and enriching place. Axs lab was founded to ignite the disabilitymovement and create a tool that allows people with physical challenges to be in thedriver seat our belief is that the societal perception of people with disabilities areaskew and our goal is to support them in reentering the mainstream. Our objective is to drive the social changeneeded to serve this impoverished and underserved population. We utilize thequalitative story-telling of film and the quantitative data gathering of new media tofurther our objective.
