“Hope made real, inc. Is a charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults in the country of rwanda. Started in 2008, hope made real, inc. Supports various projects in rwanda with the aim of assisting the country's orphaned and abandoned children and other poor and vulnerable residents of rwanda.”

“Fundraising, bookkeeping, administer funds to send to africa. Various missions teams travel to africa to visit the orphanage. Volunteers that travel to the orphanage assist with teaching, construction, on-going maintenance. Many volunteers sew, knit, prepare clothing, baby supplies, etc. That is then delivered by the volunteer mission teams. Voluteers collect school supplies, assist with fund raising, and sell items produced by the grass roots businesses in rwanda.”

“Orphanage hope made real supports the urukundo home for children, a non-profit orphanage serving the urukundo village in rwanda, africa. The urukundo home for children houses orphaned and abandoned children. The urukundo home also works in coordination with the rwanda national prison ministry to secure homes for children with incarcerated parents. Hope made real provides funds for the purchase of food and clothing for the children in the orphanage as well as providing certain educational supports, such as the cost of textbooks, pencils, paper and other school fees. Hope made real also provides funds for medical supplies, electricity and water. The daycare was modernized. Walkways were changed from steps to handicap accessible. Fences were erected for student safety. Drainage ditches improved. Three new classrooms were constructed. Dining room construction is in progress.”

“Education hope made real provides educational support for the children in the urukundo village and now provides support to other children in the muhanga district of rwanda through the cyeza sector support project. The sewing center was expanded in 2019 and achieved level 1 recognition fromte ministry of education. Construction as completed on two additional classrooms in 2019. The program graduated 122 preschool students, 62 primary students and graduated 3 university students with bachelors degrees and assisted on with a masters degree. Children live at the school and visit families during school holidays. The babies now have foster families during school breaks. This allow orphans to experience life in a family.”

“Hope made real continues to help and provide livestock and bees and farming instruction, seeds, etc. To help residents become self-sustaining. New mothers are given sanitary supplies, layettes and instructions in care of new borns averaging 2 or more per week. A second full time dentist was added to the dental clinic, a second dental assistant was trained and hired, a hand held x-ray machine was purchased. These improvements allow hope made real to provide dental care for the school and community. Demolition of the old barn. Farm wall was repaired. Pig houses were improved. Chicken production increased.”
