“The Federal Form 990 is drafted by the Organization's independent accountants and reviewed by the Chief Operating Officer. The 990 is then submitted to the Finance Committee for approval prior to filing with the IRS.”

“Board members are required to annually disclose any potential conflicts. If a member of the Board is determined to have a potential conflict they are prohibited from voting on such matters.”

“The Board will negotiate with the CEO with respect to the appropriate salary. The salary is based on annual performance review, and benchmarks of other similar organizations. Other key employees salaries are reviewed by the CEO based on a work plan subject to approval of the Board. The process is driven by the budget and approved by the Board.”
