Mission

The organization's mission and goals are: - to provide for the delivery of social services to the marshall county community in an effective, supportive and uplifting environment - to support the social service agencies in marshall county by placing them in a facility where they can focus on their mission, network with colleagues, and have access to current technology infrastructure - to serve as a revitalization catalyst and transform an underutilized urban area of the city of plymouth into a community asset - to leverage public funds with private foundations, corporations, and individuals to make this project a reality.

Governance Explanations

Form 990, Page 6, Part VI, Line 11B

The draft copy of the form 990 is forwarded by the outside cpa firm preparing the return to the ogranization's management company for review. The management company reviews the forms and discusses with the cpa firm any changes that may need to be made. Once both parties are satisfied with the prepared return, a draft copy is then presented by the management company to the board of directors for review. After review any changes that may have been suggested are reviewed. Once the return is approved, an officer of the organization will sign the return and the return is then submitted to the internal revenue service for filing.

The organization has a written and approved conflict of interest policy that is followed. Review of such conflicts or potentail conflicts are completed on a continual basis. Annual statements are utilized for board of director members.

The corporation currently has no employees and hires the work to be performed from a real estate management company. Therefore there are no hiring, recruitment or pay policies currently in place.

The governing documents of the organization, its financial statements and the form 990 return of organization exempt from income tax are available to the public upon request. It is preferred that the request be made in writing, but it is the organization's goal to provide the information requested as quickly as possible and within a 48 hour time frame.
