“Form 990-ez, primary exempt purpose - the mission of desert reign is to improve the health and well-being of youth, by promoting daily physical activity and proper eating habits. Participants will learn the importance of an active lifestyle and proper nutrition and attain invaluable leadership skills that will be utilized for the rest of their lives. Southern nevadas youth will be equipped with the knowledge of how to live a healthy, active lifestyle by providing instruction on fitness-related activities and nutritional information. Desert reign strives to increase the welfare of the overall community at large by reaching out to as many youths as possible, to stress the importance of living a healthy lifestyle by introducing the benefits of exercise, understand healthy eating (continued) form 990-ez, part iii, primary exempt purpose, continued:and proper rest. Motivating youth to create personal goals for fitness, proper nutrition and schooling. Helping youth develop a lifelong commitment to personal fitness and healthy eating. Usab basketball fantasy camp:applies a basketball camp where adults experience being part of a usa basketball team. The camp is structured like an official usa basketball mini-camp, workouts, draft, media session, awards dinners, film session, conditioning, workouts, etc. The nonprofit provides coaching services, to assist with the camp. Score keepers, shot clock attendant, bench managers, game clock attendant. Desert reign receives a donation from pro camps.”
