Mission

Community Development is the primary purpose of OQI Cares, Inc, and we Operate with Quality and Integrity to eliminate urban poverty and expand success and opportunity for Black businesses, youth, families and their communities.

We operate with quality and integrity to increase the value, capacity and interest of youth in Science, Technology,Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) career fields .

We operated an after school program for At-promise youth that live in high risk conditions. This program was partnered with the Albany City Police, TRAC program. The expenses helped purchase technology kits, to support this STEAM program. Further, transportation and food was purchased to support the programmatic weekly hours.
