“Form 990-EZ Part III - Exempt Purpose - The mission of Caesar RodneyInstitute (CRI) is to influence public policy in Delaware by helpingevery Delawarean understand and put into practice the fundamentals of afree society: individual initiative, personal responsibility, privateproperty, rights, informed choice, the rule of law and strong localcommunities. Form 990-EZ Part III Line 28 - Center for Economic Policy & Analysis -obtains economic data and statistics from multiple databases establishedand maintained primarily by the State of Delaware. The information isanalyzed to determine its economic impact on the states economy andthen published with fidings and conclusions in a white paper. Thewhite papers are presented in open forums and used to advocate forchange in public policy and are also provided to elected officials aslegislative reference materials. Some of the raw data is reformatted tomake it more user friendly and posted on the CRI website for open accessto interested parties. The white papers are also distributed via e-mailto approximately 11,000 CRI e-mail subscribers. Form 990-EZ Part III Line 29 - Center for Energy Competitiveness -evaluates state mandated alternative energy electrical power supplypolicy and produces cost analysis for policy implementation. The costanalysis are evaluated further to determine their impact on the stateseconomy. Findings and conclusions are set forth in white papers thatare presented in open forums ans used to advocate for change in publicenergy policy. They are for use by the Delaware Public ServiceCommission and the Office of the Public Advocate in establishingelectrical power rate cases. They are also distributed to electedofficials as legislative reference materials and distributed via e-mailto approximately 11,000 individual CRI e-mail subscribers. Form 990-EZ Part III Line 30 - Center for Education Excellence - obtainsstudent (K-12) academic performance and achievement data primarily fromstate of Delaware databases. Also obtains education system operatingcost and salary information from available state databases. CEE doesextensive research on comparable performance and operating costinformatio from other states across the United States for comparativeanalysis. Findings and conclusions are set forth in white papers thatare presented in open forums and used to advocate for change in publiceducation policy. They are also distributed to elected officials aslegislative reference and distributed via e-mail to approximately 11,000individual CRI e-mail subscribers.”
