Any decision that requires a membership majority vote as required in the organizations by-laws must be put on the floor to be voted on by all members who are present and in good standing with the organization.

The boardmembers receive a copy of the form 990 from the accounting firm prior to them signing to review all information on the return. Any questions are answered and then the return is sent to the irs.

While the organization does not have a written conflict of interest policy, the board does have a verbal policy that requires the boardmembers and general members of the organization to notify all board members when a conflict of interest arises in any transaction of business for the organization.
