The ministrys mission is to reach cancer patients, their networks, others in life crisis with love, comfort, the good news of Jesus Christ. It will provide spiritual support comfort to cancer patients, caretakers others in a major life crisis. Outreach is through the internet, books, support groups, training seminars, retreats workshops.

Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12C

The organizations conflict of interest policy covers any director, officer, or member of a committee with powers delegated by the board directors. Each covered person has a duty to disclose the existence of a financial interest in a proposed transaction or arrangement. The governing board determines if a disclosed direct or indirect financial interest is a conflict of interest. The board will exercise due diligence to avoid such situations. All salient information is recorded in the minutes of board meetings. Compensation arrangements and organization expenses are reviewed by board members to ensure that they are reasonable, further charitble purposes, and do not result in inurement, impermissible private benefit or excess benefit transaction. The policy is reviewed by the board annually.

Compensation for the following fiscal year is determined while setting the organizations budget at the end of the fiscal year. Each board member completes a questionnaire evaluating the performance of the Executive Director. The results are aggregated and shared with the Executive Director. The board members take the following factors into account to determine the Executive Directors compensation: the aggregated performance evaluation from the board members; growth in ministry activities; growth in contributions; US government reports on growth of the CPI and cost of living adjustments; the education, experience, and personal attributes required to carry out the responsibilities; previous compensation increases; and salary ranges for executive directors of comparable nonprofits.

We also post these emails as blog posts on our website - http://www.mystronghold.org/blog. Many patients and caretakers write immediately after we sentd these emails inquiring for futher help, prayer and support.Hospital and home visits upon request - Averaged one hospital or home visits per week.

Each covered person has a duty to disclose the existence of a financial interest in a proposed transaction or arrangement. The governing board determines if a disclosed direct or indirect financial interest is a conflict of interest. The board will exercise due diligence to avoid such situations. All salient information is recorded in the minutes of board meetings. Compensation arrangements and organization expenses are reviewed by board members to ensure that they are reasonable, further charitble purposes, and do not result in inurement, impermissible private benefit or excess benefit transaction. The policy is reviewed by the board annually.

Each board member completes a questionnaire evaluating the performance of the Executive Director. The results are aggregated and shared with the Executive Director. The board members take the following factors into account to determine the Executive Directors compensation: the aggregated performance evaluation from the board members; growth in ministry activities; growth in contributions; US government reports on growth of the CPI and cost of living adjustments; the education, experience, and personal attributes required to carry out the responsibilities; previous compensation increases; and salary ranges for executive directors of comparable nonprofits.
