ABOUT 10.8 MILLION PEOPLE WERE AFFECTED WITH 405 DEATHS AND THE DISPLACEMENT OF 3 MILLION PEOPLE. THE ORGANIZATION RELEASED 16,000 IN THE FORM OF DONATIONS FOR MEDICAL SUPPLIES, FOOD AND PORTABLE WATER TO THE PEOPLE AFFECTED. b SCHOLARSHIP FUND-THE ORGANIZATION IS SUPPORTING 12 SCHOLARS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES COLLEGE OF MEDICINE WITH A STIPEND OF 1,500 PER YEAR. TOTAL GIVEN OUT FOR 2021 WAS 18,000. c IMMUNITY FUND-FOR 2021, THE ORGANIZATION DONATED 3,000 TO FUND VACCINATIONS FOR MEDICAL STUDENTS AND RESIDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES COLLEGE OF MEDICINE AND PHILIPPINE GENERAL HOSPITAL. d WEBINAR FUND - THE ORGANIZATION DONATED 1,500 TO SPONSOR AN EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR IN THE FIELD OF PEDIATRICS FOR RESIDENTS AND MEDICAL STUDENTS AT UPCM. e QUISUMBING-ESCANDOR FILM FESTIVAL- THE ORGANIZATION DONATED 2,000 FOR A FILM FESTIVAL THAT HIGHLIGHTED EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTARIES FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH IN THE COUNTRY. THE ORGANIZATION USED FUNDS FROM ITS FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN FOR THIS PROGRAM. fPGH BANTAY FUND- THIS WAS A DONATION IN THE AMOUNT OF 2,700 TO HELP FEED THE CAREGIVERS AT THE PHILIPPINE GENERAL HOSPITAL. g VERONICA DAVID FUND- THE ORGANIZATION DONATED 2,000 TO THE UP-MANILA DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION TO HELP THE MENTAL WELL-BEING OF PSYCHIATRY RESIDENTS AT THE PHILIPPINE GENERAL HOSPITAL. h DTTB PROGRAM- THE ORGANIZATION DONATED 500 FOR THE DOCTORS TO BARRIOS PROGRAM WHICH SENDS YOUNG DOCTORS TO SMALL, ISOLATED TOWNS IN THE PHILIPPINES. i A PGH ORSA FUND WAS CREATED TO HELP FUND THE DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY OF THE PHILIPPINE GENERAL HOSPITAL AFTER A DISASTROUS FIRE.”
