“The hangout members 18+ come and do what the name suggests, hang out. Each week looks a little different whether we are doing an art project or a puzzle, having spontanous dance party or going for a scavenger hunt. Spare chromies bowling league world down syndrome day, hosting a party for the community celebrating world down syndrome day together. Educaton night summer mini series wiggle giggle and learn, is a monthly meet up for families of kids with down syndrome who are 5 years of age and younger. The families get to meet and share information and the kids get to play with their peers. Club 21 is for all people with down syndrome who are over the age of 14. This club was designed to be a fun social club for memebers to create quality friendships with thier peers while being a part of our community. We host activities such as going out to eat, going to the movies, dances, singles mixers and more. First call family support katarini zoe medical outreach program, this program was developed between dsnnn and the butler family in memperoy of katarini zoe, a beloved member of our community who passed away in 2022. This program's mission is to help support families by working with healthcare providers to imporive family- centered care and to better understand the many facets of serving patients with down syndrome. The katerini zoe medical outreach program is dedicated to helping families navigate the uncertainty that comes with facing health care issues. We will do this by: "providing patient advocates to attend appointments with familys " family slervi ecoordination to help care for the entire family. Developing direct relationships with pediatric offices, coordinatiing grand rounds presentations at local hospitals.”
