“4. Collecting the rain. Provided 50-gallon water barrels and rain gutters for 50 families in a village in guatemala. These families do not have running water. They need the ability to collect and store the rainwater. These water barrels help store the water for the families. 5. Corn demonstration plots. Continued with creating experimental corn plots to test seeds, fertilizer, and spacing of seeds to improve corn production. 6. Books. Donated over 1,000 children's books (written in spanish and english) to local schools and schools in remote villages. 7. Brush your teeth. Most people in the remote villages have never brushed their teeth. Welcome hand provided toothbrushes and toothpaste to over 500 adults and children in remote villages of guatemala. Spent time teaching the villagers the proper way to brush their teeth. 8. Provided soccer gear to youth soccer programs. 9. Raised funds to help provide a school to the village of cerro alto. 10. Provided soccer balls to six different villages to encourage community involvement. 11. Say cheese. Took family pictures of 300 families. These families have never had their pictures taken. We take a printer, power source, and the supplies to print out the pictures and put the pictures into a nice mat. These are then given to the families. 12. Sustainable lives. Started a program called "sustainable lives". Villages receive rewards for setting goals that will help bring them to change their lives, and for achieving the goals.”

CONTINUED WITH CREATING EXPERIMENTAL CORN PLOTS TO TEST SEEDS, FERTILIZER, AND SPACING OF SEEDS TO IMPROVE CORN PRODUCTION. 6. BOOKS. DONATED OVER 1,000 CHILDREN'S BOOKS (WRITTEN IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH) TO LOCAL SCHOOLS AND SCHOOLS IN REMOTE VILLAGES. 7. BRUSH YOUR TEETH. MOST PEOPLE IN THE REMOTE VILLAGES HAVE NEVER BRUSHED THEIR TEETH. WELCOME HAND PROVIDED TOOTHBRUSHES AND TOOTHPASTE TO OVER 500 ADULTS AND CHILDREN IN REMOTE VILLAGES OF GUATEMALA. SPENT TIME TEACHING THE VILLAGERS THE PROPER WAY TO BRUSH THEIR TEETH. 8. PROVIDED SOCCER GEAR TO YOUTH SOCCER PROGRAMS. 9. RAISED FUNDS TO HELP PROVIDE A SCHOOL TO THE VILLAGE OF CERRO ALTO. 10. PROVIDED SOCCER BALLS TO SIX DIFFERENT VILLAGES TO ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT. 11. SAY CHEESE. TOOK FAMILY PICTURES OF 300 FAMILIES. THESE FAMILIES HAVE NEVER HAD THEIR PICTURES TAKEN. WE TAKE A PRINTER, POWER SOURCE, AND THE SUPPLIES TO PRINT OUT THE PICTURES AND PUT THE PICTURES INTO A NICE MAT. THESE ARE THEN GIVEN TO THE FAMILIES. 12. SUSTAINABLE LIVES. STARTED A PROGRAM CALLED "SUSTAINABLE LIVES". VILLAGES RECEIVE REWARDS FOR SETTING GOALS THAT WILL HELP BRING THEM TO CHANGE THEIR LIVES, AND FOR ACHIEVING THE GOALS. |
