Survivor empowerment - establish a set of methods and initiatives that are demonstrably empowering survivors to be educated and/or have the economic autonomy required to sustain lives of dignityvoices for change: smf has preeminent support network led by survivors of trafficking and continues to assist survivors to develop the skills, knowledge and resources to change their lives and the lives of those around the world. Education: the appropriate vocational, secondary and/or college programs and initiatives are in place to allow any survivor, who chooses to be educated, to be on the path of receiving an education. Economic autonomy: smf offers viable opportunities for survivors to be economically responsible, have vocational skills, own their own business or be employed.

Activity 3

Eradicating slavery - in identified areas of the world, the idea of eradicating slavery is recognized and is being legislated as "an idea who's time has come". There are active awareness and policy campaigns underway to eradicate slavery and there is a measurable impact. Viral campaigns and societies that honor the rule of law are understood to be key levers in eradicating slavery.the program's objectives incude:- cambodia tier 2 or higher on the us state department tip report- visible viral campaigns circulating, showing measurable change in public opinion on human trafficking- smf has a regional presence with governments in se asia, not solely cambodia- smf actively engaged in anti-trafficking education for police officers, judges, magistrates and other relevant parties- smf's reputation is that of the most collaborative anti-trafficking agency with partnerships around the world
