“All residents of the Town of Wareham and all businesses, corporations, organizations, institutions and other entities which are located in the said Town and who substantially subscribe to the purposes of the Corporation shall be eligible to election to membership in the Corporation upon completion of a written application on a form approved by the Board of Directors and upon compliance with conditions, consistent with the Articles of Incorporation, By-laws, and other governing documents as may be prescribed by the Board of Directors.All members over the age of 18 whose membership is in good standing by September 1st of each year are eligible to vote on business decisions during annual and special meetings of membership.A member shall not be entitled to compensation for his or her service as a member.”

“The governing body was provided with a copy of the Form 990 prior to filing. Any comments were to be provided to the Executive Director prior to November 15, 2016. Any additional comments provided after November 15, 2016 will be evaluated and material changes to the Form 990 as filed will be amended.”

“To ensure the organization operates in a manner consistent with charitable purposes and does not engage in activities that could jeopardize its tax-exempt status, periodic reviews shall be conducted. The periodic reviews shall consist of monitoring potential conflict of interest issues with its board of directors, members and employees in compliance with their Confict of Interest Policy.”

“The organization will make its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements available to the public upon request. Significant portions of this information is readily available online through various state agencies as well.”
