Section 7.10. Annual Election. The Annual election of Officers and the Board of Directors shall be at the annual December election meeting held the second (2nd) Monday in December.7.10(a) Nominations for Officers and Directors.B The nominations for Directors at large shall be per Section 3.07.B The nomination of officers and directors will be made from the floor at the November membership meeting.B Nominations will be reopened at the Annual Election immediately preceding the vote for each office.B Each candidate nominated for an elected position shall accept the nomination as soon as possible after nomination.B The nominee must accept or decline the nomination prior to the vote.B A list of members eligible for any office shall be posted prior to nominations.7.10(b) Election Procedure.B B All elections shall be conducted by written ballot. The election to any office shall be determined by a greater than 50% majority of all votes cast. In the case of a vote in which no candidate has a greater than 50% majority the two candidates with the most votes will be placed in a runoff ballot; any candidate in a runoff election who received votes by absentee ballot shall also receive the absentee ballot votes in the runoff election.B

Associate Members and Active Members shall be involved in the operation of theDepartment and are collectively referred to in these By-laws as "DepartmentMembers or Members".West Ridge shall be governed by a duly elected Board ofDirectors, which shall determine the policies of and manage the business, property, and affairs of West Ridge.Section 3.02. Members of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall consist of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Chief, Finance Conunittee Chairperson and nine other Department Members elected at large.Section 3.03. Meetings. The Board of Directors will meet the second Thursday of every month at a time determined by the President. If circumstances dictate, the monthly Board meetings may be rescheduled by the President. The President will be responsible for notifying all Board Members of the rescheduled meeting.Section 3.04. Quorum. Eight (8) of the fifteen (15) members of the Board of Directors shall constitute a quorum for meetings and for special meetings.

Financial Statement Notes

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

Management has determined that the Department does not have any uncertain tax positions and associated unrecognized benefits that materially impact the financial statements or related disclosures. Since tax matters are subject to some degree of uncertainty, there can be no assurance that the Departments tax returns will not be challenged by the taxing authorities and that the Department will not be subject to tax, penalties and interest as a result of such challenge. Generally, the Departments tax returns remain open for three years for federal and state income tax examination. The Department does not have accruals for uncertain tax positions as of March 31, 2025.
