Washington county health partners' (wchp) policy is to present the form 990 to the finance committee including significant schedules prior to submission of the form to the internal revenue service. Wchp will not file the form 990 until the finance committee has reviewed the completed form 990. Each member of the board will receive a copy of the form 990.

Various salary data sources are reviewed for appropriate positions to compare wchp's salaries with a solid cross section of the market data. The market review data includes survey source, survey position/title, survey scope, number reported, market data, wchp inc and the difference in dollar amount and as a percentage. Wchp inc. Has established a structure of pay ranges for all positions based on analysis of competitive pay for these positions. The ranges are reviewed annually. Individual salary increases to move the employees higher in their salary range are based on merit budget for wchp inc., individual compa-ratio and performance results.

Schedule D, Page 2, Part V, Line 4

Washington county health partners, inc. Maintains an endowment fund with the washington county community foundation. This fund was established by donors to benefit the health status of washington county residents.

Schedule D, Page 3, Part X

Washington county health partners, inc. Follows financial accounting standards board (fasb) accounting standards codification (asc) 740-10 accounting for uncertainty in income taxes, which clarifies the accounting for uncertainty in income taxes. Asc 740-10 prescribes a recognition threshold of more-likely-than-not to be sustained upon examination by the appropriate taxing authorities. Measurement of the uncertainty occurs if the recognition threshold has been met. The standard also provides guidance on derecognition, classification, interest and penalties, accounting in interim periods, disclosure, and transition. Management has determined that there are no material uncertain tax positions or unrecognized tax benefits and there is no material impact on financial position, results of operations, or cash flows. In addition, there was no penalties or interest recognized on the statements of activites and changes in net assets. The organization's asc 740-10 evaluation was performed for the fiscal years ended 2010 through 2013, which are the years that remain subject to examination by the internal revenue service and various state agencies as of june 30, 2014.
