An external review of the Form 990 is performed by the outside tax preparer. The final Form 990 is provided to the University's Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management Committee for review. The Form 990 is made available electronically to the trustees prior to filing.”

“All trustees, officers and key employees are required to complete and submit an annual conflict of interest statement. All statements are reviewed by the VP for Finance and Administration Division to determine if the possible conflicts of interest noted are actual conflicts and what action should be taken including prohibiting an individual from participating in any deliberations, decisions or transactions related to the conflict, and whether disclosures regarding the conflict should be made in financial statements or other documents.”
