IRS990ScheduleA/Form990ScheduleAPartVIGrp/ExplanationTxt0The Kansas Scottish Rite Foundation, Inc. receives all of it's support from contributions received from members and associated organizations and from investment income on the accumulation of bequests and contributions from members and associated organizations. During the past few years, substantial contributions were received and invested in publically traded securities. Due to the economic times, contributions from members and associated organizations have declined, thus not meeting the 33 1/3% public support test. The Foundation continues to request support from our members and organizations. The Foundation continues to have its annual fund raising event to raise funds for the language and speech clinics we contribute to every year.
