IRS990/Desc0The Institute provides school-based and community based fire and burn prevention education programs and distributes fire and burn prevention literature to child care centers, pre-schools, grades K-6 schools, community health centers, community resource centers, libraries, and at health fairs and senior centers, in an effort to prevent fire and burn injuries and deaths. The Institutes juvenile fire setter intervention program, wildfire prevention and preparation and senior fire burn prevention programs all provide the public with services that save lives and property through education. Support programs and services are offered to burn survivors including summer camp, retreats, support group meetings and outings.
