Activity 2

Prevention education - the education program services plays a significant role to advance the mission of prevent child abuse america. It focuses on promoting the organization's work and engaging the public through both traditional and social media; supports all communications related to prevent child abuse america's national signature campaign "pinwheels for prevention", as well as, prevent child abuse america's efforts to launch the national campaign for america's children. It also regularly presents on the importance of consistent messaging on prevention of child abuse and neglect to national partners across the nation.

Activity 3

Chapter activities - there is a chapter in each of the states except mississippi. The network provides a distribution mechanism for the public policy and information efforts of the national office. Each chapter is a separate 501(c)(3) and also provides a variety of services that may include information and education on prevention services, development of position statements on important local policy issues and thought leadership for statewide prevention planning efforts.
