Mission

Invested supports washington state secondary schools with resources to help students get to school, engage in school, and graduate. Our funding allows schools to help students with basic supplies and access programs and other assistance.

Provide immediate help to needy secondary school students in wa to help them get to school, stay in school and graduate.

The conflict of interest policy applies to officers, directors and committee members. The policy is monitored by the board and committee members. Board members must recuse themselves from voting on issues where they have a conflict of interest.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15A

A committee of three board members conducted the review of the executive director. The organization has no other compensated officers or key employees. The ed completed a self evaluation which was used by the committee to evaluate her performance. The results of the evaluation were reported to the board and minutes of the meeting were kept. The last compensation review was completed in march of 2016.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED $97,538 IN MATCHING FUNDS AND $99,473 IN ADOPT A SCHOOL FUNDS DURING THE YEAR. INDIVIDUAL SCHOOLS SPENT $147,821 IN ADDITIONAL FUNDS AT THE LOCAL LEVEL. THESE FUNDS WERE FROM CARRY OVER BALANCES FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR OR RAISED BY THE SCHOOLS DURING THE CURRENT YEAR. DURING THE 2015-2016 SCHOOL YEAR 23,240 STUDENTS WERE ASSISTED ON 29,499 OCCASIONS WITH $849,177 OF IMMEDIATE SUPPORT HELPING THEM STAY ENGAGED IN SCHOOL AND REACH THEIR POTENTIAL.
