To strengthen families and build better communities by providing prevention, support, and counseling services to children, teens, and families. Part iii - additional information family counseling parents and youth ages 6-17 can receive counseling services designed to improve relationships so they are more confident and satisfied with their lives. Family counselors are licensed or master level clinicians ensuring individuals and families receive the highest quality of service. Counseling services are confidential and provided in a welcoming office environment. The immediate goal of family crisis intervention is to address the issues precipitating the crisis. The family counselor works with the family to identify possible resolutions to the problem and reduce the degree of stress between family members.
