The executive committee is composed of the chair, vice chair, secretary, treasurer, and active members of the organization who conduct business between intervals to be ratified at the next scheduled meeting.

The membership of the association consists of active and associate members. To qualify as an active member, a corporation or entity must be actively engaged in the operation of the cable system in the state of california. Associate members are engaged in either the manufacture or distribution of equipment or material used in cable systems or provides a service to participants in the cable industry.

The board, as the governing body, has approval over ccta's operations, specifically the budget.
