South Dakota Ready MIX Concrete Association

“Producer member - any group or individual that is directly engaged in the production or sale of ready mixed concrete with active operations within the state of south dakota. Associate member - any group or individual that is directly engaged in the production, sale or supply of material(s) used in the production of ready mixed concrete in south dakota or that is a ready mixed concrete producer with active operations located entirely outside the state of south dakota. Affiliate member - any group or individual that provides equipment, supplies, services, or other products which support either directly or indirectly the production, delivery, placement, finishing, curing, or testing of ready mixed concrete in south dakota. Rights - members in good standing have the right to publicize their membership in the association, attend and participate in meetings of the general membership, vote on ballots submitted to the general membership, attend meetings of the board of directors, with prior written approval from the board to participate in meetings of the board, and serve as a board member or officer if so elected. Privileges - members in good standing can be elected to the board, serve as an officer for the association, and serve on the committees within the association. Responsibilities - members in good standing shall abide by the articles, bylaws, and antitrust polices of the association, pay their dues as assessed, participate in the activities of the association, vote on ballots submitted to the general membership, cooperate and communicate with the board in a professional and timely manner, and shall inform the board of any changes in name, location, ownership, membership status, membership qualifications or other relevant information.”
