“The state of maryland retains a historical easement on a small boat shed. The small boat shed is reported on the statement of financial position at cost and is depreciated over its estimated useful life by a level charge (straight-line method) to fixed asset fund expenditures. The small boat shed is fully depreciated.”
“The collection, which has been acquired through purchases and contributions since the museum's inception, is not recognized as an asset on the statemetns of financial position.
