Magazine production and distribution - initiated subscription campaign to encourage all groups to purchase a magazine subscription for their group.

Activity 3

Group support and referral services - radio psa was distributed to over 3,000 radio stations in us and canada, which aired nearly 6,000 times on 152 stations in the 6 months it was being tracked. This allowed us to reach out to potential new members and increase knowledge of the oa program. Recorded a podcast reading of one of our most popular pamphlets to make it available to a wider audience and educate them about how to use the tools of the program. A national public awareness campaign with press releases, interviews, articles, paid internet ads, and design of promotional posters served to increase public knowledge of the oa program. Two national health professional conference trade shows were attended by staff to educate health care professionals about the oa program and what it offers. Reprogrammed web site to make access to meeting information more accurate and easier to find, as well as improved interface for submitting meeting information to wso. Began translation of web site into french, to prepare for launch in 2012.
