“Form 990, Part VI, Lines 6, 7a & 7b - As outlined in TRWA's By-Laws, Regular members from each of 14 geographical districts elect by secret ballot a Director and Alternate Director from their district to serve on the Board of Directors of the Association for a three year term of office; these terms are staggered such that only one third of the directors are up for election each year. The Association By-Laws can only be amended, altered, or repealed by a majority vote of Regular members present at an Annual Meeting or Special Meeting of the membership.”

The Board of Directors approves an annual budget and any budget amendments. The Board also approves any significant contracts before they are executed. Auditors inquire about related party transactions, if any, during the annual financial statement audit.”

“Form 990, Part VI, Line 15 - The TRWA Board approved the Executive Director's salary and bonus for 2024 during a regular board meeting when the annual budget was also approved.”
