Can do is a not-for-profit corporation that is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(6) of the internal revenue code. No provision for federal or state income tax is required. In accordance with the financial accounting standards board guidance on accounting for uncertainty in income taxes, management evaluated can do's tax position and concluded that can do had taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustment to the financial statements to comply with the provisions of this guidance. With few exceptions, can do is no longer subject to income tax examination by federal, state, or local tax authorities for years before june 30, 2016.
