Mission

The mission is to help companion pets stay at home and out of animal shelters by providing donated pet food and pet care services to pet families in financial need. We service families facing financial crisis in the 5 county area of pennsylvania. At times, we are the last option for families to keep their companion pets at home. In addition to providing companion pets food, we help financially stressed rescues who are having a difficult time obtaining pet food. The organization has a core group of 15 volunteers that volunteers each about 10-15 hours per month with an overall group of about 30 that volunteers an additional 3-4 hours per month each. The organization also has larger corporate donators that add to the organization's volunteer base by allowing their employee's to sign up with the organization as part of the company's annual volunteer days. These corporate volunteers contribute around 4 hours each and come from various corporations such as liberty mutual, merck pharmaceutica

Donated pet food & care items: dry and canned dog, cat, bird, fish, reptile and small animal food. When available, we also offer treats, toys, litter, bedding, flea/tick treatments, and grooming supplies. Veterinary assistance program: spaying, neutering and low cost vaccination of pantry clients' pets. Assistance with pet placement: we are not a rescue, and cannot house any animals. Our goal is to keep pets at home and out of shelters. During 2018 the non-profit helped 3,850 families, 256 were new to the our assistance programs. With 3,659 dogs and 4,505 cats being helped.
