Activity 2

Rapa- the rock academic program alliance (rapa), a day and boarding program for grades nine through twelve, attracts a dedicated, diverse community of young dancers whose passion for dance is enhanced by a unique college preparatory curriculum. The accredited program provides felxibility in scheduling and individual support as well as dual preparation for artistic careers and higher education. Students move forward at a pace suited to their individual abilities and can earn both high school and college credits, critical to young artists who often spend their college years in professional companies.

Activity 3

Residency- the rock school residence is located in the marine club apartment building directly across the street from the rock center, occupying sixteen apartments on one floor. The residence director and assistants, who live on the floor with the students, provide 24 hour care for each student on an individual basis, ensuring students are well supported while living away from home. The residence director, dean, school directors and board of trustess work together to plan exciting, education and/or fun events and activities for the students.
