The purpose of this organization is to live the monastic life in the Catholic Christian tradition, according to the spirit of Saints Francis de Sales and Jane de Chantal. People from all walks of life are welcome here for retreat, to join in prayer, or to be ministered to. The work of a can be anything done in obedience and not in conflict with the rhythm of monastic life, e.g., spiritual direction, pastoral counseling, retreat work, cooking, keeping the monastery in good repair, etc. The monastery claims all powers provided for in the law for domestic non-profit corporations in order to carry out these purposes as stated. The monastery lives in the spirit of the code of canon law of the Roman Catholic Church and of Vatican Council II.
