Compensation decisions for the president and top management officials are documented in the minutes of the executive compensation committee and/or board of trustees' minutes. The university is required to determine whether a transaction or event must be reported in a tax return and to evaluate whether a tax position be recognized or derecognized based on a "more likely than not" threshold. This applies to positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. No adjustments to the financial statements were required as a result of this review.”
