Part X, Line 2:

The School accounts for uncertainties in income taxes in accordance with authoritative guidance, which prescribes a recognition threshold of more-likely-than-not to be sustained upon examination by the appropriate taxing authority. Measurement of the tax uncertainty occurs if the recognition threshold has been met. The School's policy is to recognize interest related to unrecognized tax benefits in interest expense and penalties in operation expenses. There were no unrecognized tax benefits recorded during the periods presented in the accompanying financial statements. The School's federal Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax Returns (Form 990) for 2016, 2015 and 2014 remain subject to examination by the IRS. The School is not required to file form 990-T as it has no Unrelated Business Taxable Income.
