“The Art Gallery holds over six thousand pieces of artwork in its collection. Such Artwork is comprised of paintings, sculptures, drawings, engravings, lithographs, watercolors, woodcuts, mixed media, textiles, and ceramics. The Artwork is held on the University's premises and at an outside art facility. Artwork in the collection is displayed for public view at various locations on the University campus. Each year, the Art Gallery presents a number of exhibitions of art by emerging artists. For each exhibition there is a reception for the artist, all of which is free of charge, and the public is invited. Also, each year, the art gallery has held outreach programs at which art education is provided to disadvantaged individuals. the programs are also free of charge to the participants.
