The organization monitors compliance with its written conflict of interest policy by requiring all members of the board of directors, the chief executive officer, members of senior management, and employees with purchasing and/or hiring responsibilities or authority to inform in writing, the chief executive officer and the chair of the finance and audit committee, of all reportable conflicts. The chief executive officer reviews the forms of all employees and the finance and audit committee reviews all forms completed by directors and the chief executive officer. New choices employment program

Center for racial and gender equity- the center is home for our key mission work and includes community engagement activities and events; training and education and advocacy and campaigns. Signature events include the race against racism; dorothy height book club; community now dialogues; racial equity institute; lancaster votes and more. Parenting - parent educators work one-on-one with parents who need to improve their parenting skills and is offered in partnership with the lancaster county children and youth agency. Senior exercise programs are provided in partnership with the lancaster county office of aging at senior centers throughout the county to help older people build and maintain strength and flexibility. Employment- new choices employment program - new choices class is a free career development program available to all pa residents over the age of 18. The program is great for individuals experiencing a career transition or looking for a new opportunity in their professional life. Through this professional workshop, participants will work in both a group and one-on- one setting to learn critical professional development skills andget prepared for a career move, set goals and create strategies to achieve them, become an expert at interviewing, go home with a brand-new resume, learn strategies to find success in their job hunt. New choices is a safe and supportive environment where job seekers participate in exercises and discussions that provide career development and confidence building assistance. Over the last 28 years, more than 68,000 pennsylvanians have found success with the new choices program.

The organization has adopted the provisions of the fasb asc topic relating to income taxes, relating to accounting for uncertainty in income taxes. The organization recognizes the benefits or liabilities associated with a tax position during the period which, based on available evidence, management believes it is more likely than not that the position will be upheld upon examination. Tax positions that are other than routine business transactions are reevaluated annually. Generally, the statute of limitations for filed returns is three years from the date of filing. Mnanagement is not aware of any uncertain tax positions taken by the organization.

THROUGH THIS PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOP, PARTICIPANTS WILL WORK IN BOTH A GROUP AND ONE-ON- ONE SETTING TO LEARN CRITICAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SKILLS ANDGET PREPARED FOR A CAREER MOVE, SET GOALS AND CREATE STRATEGIES TO ACHIEVE THEM, BECOME AN EXPERT AT INTERVIEWING, GO HOME WITH A BRAND-NEW RESUME, LEARN STRATEGIES TO FIND SUCCESS IN THEIR JOB HUNT. NEW CHOICES IS A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT WHERE JOB SEEKERS PARTICIPATE IN EXERCISES AND DISCUSSIONS THAT PROVIDE CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND CONFIDENCE BUILDING ASSISTANCE.
