“Form 990, Part III, Line 4a NJMEP serves the unique needs and challenges of small and medium-sized manufacturers through a broad array of services that improve the top and bottom line. These services are categorized into the following three areas: Operational Excellence, Innovation and Growth and Workforce Development. Since 2000, NJMEP has helped New Jersey manufacturers realize more than $5.4 Billion dollars in realized value. Part VI, Section B, 11B. - Policies Form 990 is distributed to members of the finance committee in advance of meeting to discuss and approve. THE FORM 990 IS THEN ELECTRONICALLY FILED AFTER REVIEW OF ALL BOARD MEMBERS. Part VI, Section B, 12C. - Policies Upon entering new vendor or new client information, the finance department determines if there are any potential conflicts of interest. The board of trustees reviews all reported related party transactions and votes to accept or reject the transactions, with the related party member, if any, abstaining from voting. Part VI, Section B, 15A, 15B. - Policies The President will review compensation surveys from the Department of Labor and the American Small Manufacturers Coalition and will, as necessary, recommend changes in the salary structure to the compensation committee of the board of trustees. The committee will then make a recommendation to the full board. NJMEP INSTITUTED THE FOLLOWING PROCESS: THE HUMAN RESORCES/EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE SHALL BE ESTABLISHED AND SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES: ADVISING THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO SUPPORT ITS DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES, ACTS ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD DURING ON-DEMAND ACTIVITIES THAT OCCUR BETWEEN MEETINGS, WHICH ACTS ARE LATER PRESENTED FOR FULL BOARD REVIEW; EMPLOYMENT OF NJMEP'S PRESIDENT, WITH CONFIRMATION BY THE BOARD OF trustees AND ESTABLISHMENT OF HIS OR HER COMPENSATION; LEADS THE EVALUATION OF NJMEP'S PRESIDENT; GUIDES POLICY AND PROCEDURES DEVELOPMENT REATED TO ETHICS, SECURITY, HUMAN RESOURCES, FINANCE, AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS; OVERSEE NJMEP'S COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS POLICIES GENERALLY; EVALUATE EXECUTIVE OFFICER PERFORMANCE AND REVIEW OF NJMEP'S MANAGEMENT SUCCESSION PLAN; OVERSEE AND SET, WITH CONFIRMATION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, COMPENSATION FOR NJMEP'S PRESIDENT. COMPENSATION FOR NJMEP'S OTHER EXECUTIVE OFFICERS WILL BE HANDLED IN THE SAME MANNER AFTER A Recommendation FROM THE PRESIDENT.
