“The artistic director's salary and benefits are reviewed annually by the board of directors.discussions are held without the interested party being involved in the discussions other than to present her performance review. Comparable compensation for similar sized organizations is used when available. The annual budget projections for revenue and support are also taken into consideration for these deliberations. Deliberations are incorporated into the minutes of the board meeting.”

Is a modern dance repertory company dedicated to both the reconstruction of historic works from america's rich record of modern dance and creating innovative works by exploring new choreographic directions for the future. We provide dance training through programs at the gwendolyn bye dance center, educational residencies for the community, and nurture fusion2, our training company for young dancers. Dancefusion aims to expand awareness and appreciation of modern dance by presenting our programs and performances to diverse audiences.”

“Volunteers help with the recitals, special performances, fundraising events and holiday shows the organization presents during it's fiscal year. A total of 68 hours were donated.”

“Gwendolyn bye dance center-inclusive and diverse program dedicated to superior training through dance classes and performances throughout greater philadelphia. Approximately 144 students attended one or several of the 42 classes offered each week from beginner to professional in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop, african dance, and musical theater. The school offers scholarships to talented children who would not normally have the resources to afford dance training. A total of 44 volunteer hours of general service were performed for the organization by parents of the students.”

“Dancefusion is celebrating 32 years of presenting, educating, and preserving american modern dance.twelve historic works by legendary choreographers have been reconstructed. Thirty one new works have been created by company members and guest choreographers. Educational residencies and performances have been presented to over 25000 school children in over 50 schools throughout greater philadelphia. Fusion2-a training ground for young dancers, has provided 23 years of training, performance opportunities, and community outreach. Our c.a.p.e. Program (choreography, art, poetry experience) partnered with the hms school for children with cerebral palsy provides a shared experience of dance and artistic expression with a community of students with physical limitations, showing that artistic creativity has no limits. Fusion2 presents an annual concert open to the community. Participant parents donated 24 service hours to dancefusion.”
