Mission

We partner with people with disabilties and people with other challenges to build relationships and develop skills to live and work as valued members of their community through affordable housing development, vocational training,career development, behavioral health supports and personal care training.

The organization provides facilities for persons with developmental disabilities in conjuction with providing other services specially designed to meet their physical, social, and psychological needs and to promote their health, security, happiness and usefulness in longer living in new jersey.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15A

The CEO's compensation is directly related to the State of NJ grant which serves people with developmental disabilities in providing long term residential supports, skill training, vocational training and career development and casemanagement. The State of NJ provides 90% of the Company revenue through grants which support our agency mission. The Board of Directors approves the Budget and authorizes the CEO to sign all contract documents. The determination of compensation is based on annual performance in meeting agency outcomes, mission and goals. The amount of compensation is determine based on state mandated budget ceiling levels, capped General and Administrative fees and data which has been collected from three compensation surveys completed annually by following organizations: - NJ Association of Community Providers - The Council on Executives /ARC - The American Network of Community Providers (ANCOR) All noted are professional trade organizations establish to promote, train and develop professional services for people living with disabilities. The compensation of other key staff is approved by the CEO based on the approved agency budget. The process requires satisfactory annual performance reviews and are limited to annual increases allowed in state grants.

Partnerships for People, Inc. is a non-profit corporation, exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3). Management evaluated the Agency's tax positions in accordance with Accounting Standards Codification ("ASC") 740: Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes, and concluded that the Agency had taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustment to the financial statements to comply with the provisions of this guidance. The Agency files income tax returns in the U.S. Federal jurisdiction, as well as in one state jurisdiction. The State of NJ provides 90% of the Company revenue through grants which support our agency mission. The Board of Directors approves the Budget and authorizes the CEO to sign all contract documents. The determination of compensation is based on annual performance in meeting agency outcomes, mission and goals. The amount of compensation is determine based on state mandated budget ceiling levels, capped General and Administrative fees and data which has been collected from three compensation surveys completed annually by following organizations: - NJ Association of Community Providers - The Council on Executives /ARC - The American Network of Community Providers (ANCOR) All noted are professional trade organizations establish to promote, train and develop professional services for people living with disabilities. The compensation of other key staff is approved by the CEO based on the approved agency budget. The process requires satisfactory annual performance reviews and are limited to annual increases allowed in state grants.
