Mission

Search day program is a non-aggressive, positive support agency united in the belief that all students will achieve a quality experience in the community, socialization, independence, and academic accomplishments. Programs are developed to serve each individual's needs in order to achieve the goals set forth for each learner through collaborative partnerships with schools and parents.

To embrace the vision that through partnerships, intrinsic motivation, and creative programming, individuals with autism will experience an enriched and fulfilled life

“SEARCH Day Program operates a Saturday Respite/Recreation Program for approximately 10 students, twice a month. The Program is designed to blend education and recreation as an extension of the student's IEP, and to provide respite for the caregiver and siblings.”

“Accounting principles generally accepted in the united states of america require management to evaluate tax positions taken by the program and recognize a tax liability (or asset) if the program has taken an uncertain position that more-likely-than-not would not be sustained upon examination by the internal revenue service ("irs"). Management has analized the tax prositions taken by the progam, and has concluded that as of june 30, 2022 and 2021, there a no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability (or asset) or disclosure in the consolidated financial statements. The program is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. In addition, there have been no tax related interest or penalties for the periods presented in these financial statements. Should any such penalties and interest be incurred, the program's policy would be to recognize them as operating expenses.”
