Mission

To provide a means through which aid may be given to those in need, particularly people in third world countries. Global connections addresses social injustice through sustainable humanitarian aid to the orphan, widow, poor and oppressed while providing opportunities to serve and learn from the world's marginalized people.

THE GODPARENT SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM CONTINUES TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO HOUSE, FEED, AND EDUCATE THE 60 CHILDREN IN THE FULL LEGAL CUSTODY OF THE LCC. THE LCC PROVIDES A HOME WITH PARENTS, TUTORING, EDUCATION, COUNSELING, MEDICAL CARE, AND ALL OTHER RELATED NEEDS. THE LCC OPERATES TWO PRESCHOOLS PROVIDING DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN WITH EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO PREPARE THEM FOR SUCCESS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL AND BEYOND. THE LCC ALSO OPERATES THE LIFE HOUSE WHICH IS A TRANSITIONAL PROGRAM FOR LCC TEENAGERS AS THEY MOVE THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE OR TRADE SCHOOL AND INTO INDEPENDENT ADULTHOOD.
