Form 990, Part III, Line 2

Cleantech open northeast (northeast.cleantechopen.org) is the northeast division of the world's oldest and largest accelerator program for cleantech startups. Our mission is to find, fund and foster entrepreneurs solving our greatest energy and environmental challenges. Through our annual accelerator and business competition we seek out promising start-ups and support them through mentorship, entrepreneurship education, as well as financing and visibility opportunities. We use the competition as a platform for engagement of a wide range of cleantech professionals, and therefore our program is as much a support for startups as it is a connecting platform for the entire cleantech innovation community. Cleantech navigate northeast, announced in february 2014, the only region-wide resource network helping entrepreneurs in the northeast make quality, targeted connections on a regional scale. In 2014, cleantech navigate northeast rolled out a number of program elements including nine events for entrepreneurs and organizational leaders, a pilot connector service for 25 emerging companies and multiple partners, which facilitated at least 75 direct connections, and as of december 2014, the launch of the original cleantech navigate northeast web platform, navigate explorer (http://navigate.necec.org).
