At the close of 2017, some 1,500 shows have been produced over the past 12 years. The series now airs on its flagship public radio station, KNKX 88.5 FM, plus more than 230 others in 375 markets. In addition, BirdNote worked with Sasquatch Publishing to develop its first book, and made plans to issue seed grants to environmental educators to utilize BirdNote resources in their curricula.
