Citizen-Powered Media

(a) to assist citizen groups, other non-profit organizations, communities and grassroots organizations in educating the public about important social and environmental issues. (b) to ensure public access to a balance of information on issues in which one perspective has a preponderance of leverage to influence opinion. (c) to serve groups that cannot otherwise afford significant expenditures on advertising, media relations, lobbyists, and other consultants and spokespersons. (d) to provide a more active voice for everyday citizens and increase diversity of well-communicated perspectives on a variety of community issues.
