The foundation holds an annual fundraiser/gala/awards presentation. The purposes of the gala is to present the icon awards for excellence in the event planning industry and to raise money for local charities.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 28

The foundation holds an annual dinner fundraising event. For the 2015 - 2016 event the dinner had 328 attendees and the organization raised 110,526 and contributed to 48 different charities. For each dinner a ticket is sold to the attendee. The attendee is allowed to designate a qualified 501(c)(3) to receive 50 for each ticket purchased. In addition to the charity designation 25 from each ticket sold goes into a drawing and one charity from all the charities designated is chosen to receive the proceeds from the drawing.
