The foundation is a memorial to christopher steele who died of an inoperable brain tumor in 2006 at the age of 23. Funds will be directed to support those who are researching cures for brain tumors as well as innovative treatment approaches such as the targeted delivery of chemotherapy drugs to a tumor. Funds may also be used to support patients and their families. In the future, the directors may consider other charitable purposes such as scholarships to young men and women whose athletic activities reflect chris' interests and life.
