Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4B

The iea added significant programs in 19.20. The dressage program that had been in place for several years as a "pilot" offering, was fully incorporated into the iea offerings; thereby expanding us to three offered riding disciplines of hunt seat, western and dressage. There were 429 rider members in the new dressage offering. Iea also added a new pilot program for "intro riders" which allowed riders in grades 4 & 5 to now participate as rider-members within the iea. In its initial year of this offering, there were 873 intro riders who participated. The iea continues to be a significant, introductory program to equestrian participation, and is a major contributor to the growth and sustainability of equine sports.

DURING FISCAL YEAR 19-20, OUR ORGANIZATION ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED 947 SHOWS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. HOWEVER, ONLY 875 SHOWS WERE ABLE TO RUN BECAUSE OF COVID-19 RELATED CANCELLATIONS. NEVERTHELESS, NEARLY 14,000 MEMBERS WERE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN EQUESTRIAN COMPETITIONS-MANY OF WHOM WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS EQUINE SPORT WITHOUT THE AFFORDABLE, DRAW-BASED FORMAT THAT OUR ORGANIZATION PROVIDES.
