“Leading and assisting missionaries in administrative, legal, and financial areas. Developing educational curricula for the children of missionaries, including those who have disabilities. In 2013 we pioneered the first ever family discipleship training school in kona, hawaii at the university of the nations kona. It is a school that trains the entire family for international missions and ministry. It ran from april 2013 through august 2013 with seven families from four different nations completing it. For two of the months we led the families in the philippines, seeing many men, women, and children grow in their faith in christ. We also distributed food, bibles, medicine, and clothes. Four of those families continued on in international missions and the other families retuned to their communities to live more mission minded. We did relief work on leyte in the philippines, after typhoon haiyan in december 2013. We fed over 2000 families with two weeks of food supplies, distributed bibles, tarpaulins, toys, and clothing. Volunteer in support of the pregnancy center in kona, where tara provides free ultrasounds and counseling for pregnant women.”
